Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible
The INTCEC website and conference are operated by Emirhan Kabalcı – VintEight Konferans Organizasyonu, Ankara, Türkiye ("VintEight"). Contact: info@vinteight.com, +90 542 350 43 68.
Browsing this website
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) for security and to fix problems.
Fonts
The fonts of this website (Big Shoulders and Hanken Grotesk, SIL Open Font License) are served from this website. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other font service.
The INTCEC assistant
The assistant runs in your browser and first answers from the published FAQ; those answers are not sent anywhere. When the FAQ has no clear answer, or you ask several things at once, your question (and the last two questions and answers of the same chat, for context) is sent to our server and from there to Anthropic, whose AI model Claude writes an answer using only INTCEC's official information. Anthropic processes the text only to produce that answer, under its commercial terms; it is not used to train its models. We keep the time, the page, the question and the answer, with e-mail addresses and phone numbers masked, so that we can improve the FAQ. To stop abuse, the server counts questions per visitor for one day with a one-way code made from the IP address; the IP address itself is not stored. We do not save your name or any cookie with your questions, and we do not share them with anyone else. Please do not type personal data into the assistant. The conversation itself is kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab.
WhatsApp and e-mail
When you choose "WhatsApp" or "E-mail", your own app opens with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you send it. Messages you send on WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, and we use them only to answer you.
Embedded content
The home page and the gallery show our latest Instagram and LinkedIn posts through the platforms' own embeds. When such a post appears on your screen, Instagram (Meta) or LinkedIn receives your IP address and browser details and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy. YouTube videos load only after you click to play them. To find our latest Instagram post, our server asks Instagram for it a few times a day; no visitor data is sent in that request.
Campaign page and announcement list
On our campaign page and in the "Notify me" form you can give us your e-mail address, and optionally your name, country and track of interest, to receive the paper templates and an e-mail when submissions open. We save these details on our own server together with the time and, if you arrived through an advertisement, the campaign it came from (for example utm_source or gclid). We use them only for INTCEC announcements, never share or sell them, and delete them when you unsubscribe or at the latest one year after INTCEC 2027. Right after you sign up we send you one e-mail with the templates from info@vinteight.com. Our e-mails are delivered by Resend, an e-mail delivery service that processes your address only to deliver them.
The campaign page can measure our advertising with Google Ads and Google Analytics. These tags load only after you accept them in the notice on that page; if you decline, nothing is loaded from Google. Your choice is remembered in your browser.
Announcements
If you ask to be notified about INTCEC, we use your e-mail address only for INTCEC announcements, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
Submissions, registration and payment
Paper submission and review run on Microsoft CMT; registration and payment are handled by VintEight. We use these data to run the conference, issue certificates and invitation letters, and submit the proceedings. Card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Write to info@vinteight.com.
